We are a busy, state-of-the-art collision shop looking to add an Auto Body Repair Technician to the team. We have established strong connections with most insurance companies and are on their direct repair list. Our Body Shop team is experienced and produce top quality work. Candidates Should Have:

• Minimum 2 years experience tearing down frames, repairing and rebuilding individual parts and full bodies
• Working with both manual and power tools
• Must be State Certified
• iCar certification is a plus
• Hours include one late night and NO weekends

This position is open to estimators with experience or the right person willing to learn. You will play a crucial role in assessing vehicle damage, estimating repair costs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties:

• Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and determine repair requirements
• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for labor, parts, and materials needed for repairs
• Collaborate with insurance companies to negotiate repair costs and ensure timely processing of claims
• Communicate with customers to explain repair processes, estimated timelines, and cost breakdowns
• Coordinate with technicians and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques to provide accurate estimates

Experience:

• Previous experience as an Auto Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures and techniques
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to accurately assess vehicle damage and estimate repair costs
• Familiarity with brake repair, tire service, diesel engine repair, vehicle maintenance, and other automotive services is preferred
