The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado comes in six trim levels: the WT, Custom, LT, RST, LTZ, and High Country in its two-wheel-drive (2WD) options. It comes in eight trim levels in its four-wheel-drive options: the WT, Custom, LT, RST, Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country. Depending on your trim level, you can also choose a size for your cab and truck bed. You have three options for cabs, including regular, double, and crew. For beds, you also have three options: short, standard, and long. These options give you the power to choose how your new Silverado 1500 performs.
Engine
The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado has four options for engines. The first engine is a 2.7-liter turbo engine that outputs 310 horsepower (hp) at 5,600 revolutions per minute (rpm), and 348 lb-ft of torque at 1,500 rpm. For the second engine, you get a 3-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel I-6 engine that outputs 277 horsepower at 3,750 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm.
The third engine is a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V-8 engine that outputs 355 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 383 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm. Finally, the fourth engine is a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 engine that outputs 420 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm.
