Job Responsibilities
- Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Suggest alternative vehicles if necessary.
- Provide thorough product information and demonstrations to all prospects.
- Offer test drives to all prospects and follow dealership procedures for proper identification.
- Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
- Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
- Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards.
- Develop strategies to meet those income goals.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pre-Owned Sales Consultant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the automobile industry.
- Excellent organizational skills, including phone etiquette and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
