Job Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Suggest alternative vehicles if necessary.
  • Provide thorough product information and demonstrations to all prospects.
  • Offer test drives to all prospects and follow dealership procedures for proper identification.
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
  • Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
  • Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards.
  • Develop strategies to meet those income goals.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pre-Owned Sales Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the automobile industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including phone etiquette and public speaking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
