2023 Chevrolet Suburban

Chevrolet offers the Suburban in six trims, the LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. The RST trim has sporty features like exterior black accents and 22-inch high-gloss black wheels; the off-road-inspired Z71 comes with red recovery hooks, skid plates, and 20-inch wheels; and the top-tier High Country has a uniquely shaped front grille and sophisticate-looking 22-inch wheels. The High Country gets its own engine, a 6.2-liter EcoTec 3 V-8 delivering 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This engine is available for the RST, Z71, and Premier trims. Your last engine choice is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder Duramax turbocharged diesel pumping out 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. A ten-speed automatic engine pairs with all engines.

All the Suburban trims come with rear-wheel drive except the Z71, which comes standard with four-wheel drive. The latter drivetrain is an option for the other trims. When you have the four-wheel-drive system, the 2023 Suburban comes with an Autotrac two-speed transfer case, a mechanical limited-slip rear differential, and hill descent control. The Suburban handles exceptionally well, with its front coil-over shocks and stabilizer bar, and in the rear, a multilink coil spring suspension system. If you'd like to haul a boat or trailer with your Suburban, this mighty SUV can tow up to 8,300 pounds when properly equipped.
